Review: Djeco Beadazzled Dough

Y’all know I love Djeco and this kit is no different. Beadazzled Dough is a super fun art kit that comes with 3 designs; fish, cat and chicken. The dough is like air clay so after about a day it completely dries and your able to hang up the board. The kit comes with the exact number of beads you need for each design. I sorted the beads into bags for each design so they’d be ready to go when go to use them.

I love that everything you need comes in the kit. No mess was made when we did the kit which was a great plus. The instructions are simple to follow and done all in pictures so even my 3 year old daughter knew what she needed to do without me explaining it to her. Since the dough is air clay it was soft and easy for her move to fill in the cutout.

The instructions do show where to put the beads but I just let her put them anywhere she wanted. Djeco is about creativity so why not let your kids get creative in where the beads go. When we finished the chicken design she wanted to do the cat so we did that one, too. The excitement and joy she gets from doing the kits is amazing. However, my favorite part is when she told me “I can’t wait to show Dada!” If I had one negative to say it would be I wish it came with more designs but isn’t that always the case with things your enjoy.

Review: Djeco So Pop

Our daughter loves arts and crafts. Djeco So Pop is another amazing art project that she had a blast doing. I got it through Timberdoodle and it also comes with their PreK Curriculum Kit. The kit comes with 4 different projects and all the pieces you need to put them together. This particular kit came with little envelopes for each project that had sequence in them so I popped out each item for the projects and put them in the envelopes so everything would be ready go when do each one. Djeco also give you a glue stick so you can glue the pieces on the boards but I have found the glue they provide isn’t that great so instead we use hot glue.

What I really like about Djeco art kits is that they give you a little booklet that shows where to put each piece on the boards. It shows you through pictures so if your child doesn’t read yet it’s not a problem. Easy for a young kid to follow and great for the parent because you don’t have to read a lengthy instruction book.

I’d definitely recomm…
