Review: Around the World Mazes

I love that mazes are both challenging and fun. In this amazing book, Around the World Mazes, there are so many different places to go through while having the enjoyment of mazes. The best part is that this book is filled with hours of places to talk about. I always like to talk about the things we’re doing while we play. Since there aren’t that many descriptions it’s a great way to incorporate some dialogue.

My daughter is having a lot of fun with these mazes and they are more challenging than other ones we’ve done. The main reason they have a higher difficulty is because the “borders” of the mazes aren’t as defined like starter mazes are. However, I think it’d good to challenge her because then she can problem solve better.

Review: Djeco So Pop

Our daughter loves arts and crafts. Djeco So Pop is another amazing art project that she had a blast doing. I got it through Timberdoodle and it also comes with their PreK Curriculum Kit. The kit comes with 4 different projects and all the pieces you need to put them together. This particular kit came with little envelopes for each project that had sequence in them so I popped out each item for the projects and put them in the envelopes so everything would be ready go when do each one. Djeco also give you a glue stick so you can glue the pieces on the boards but I have found the glue they provide isn’t that great so instead we use hot glue.

What I really like about Djeco art kits is that they give you a little booklet that shows where to put each piece on the boards. It shows you through pictures so if your child doesn’t read yet it’s not a problem. Easy for a young kid to follow and great for the parent because you don’t have to read a lengthy instruction book.

I’d definitely recomm…
